GEZA, in collaboration with Artec Studio, designs the iGuzzini stand at the Light+Building Fair in Frankfurt. A space where architecture, design and light intersect and celebrate iGuzzini's vision for the future. Experientiality floods the whole stand, through a fluid narrative, never anchored to a specific space. The product display becomes an exhibition of light, as essence, pure concept. A made-to-measure dress sewn for iGuzzini, in which architecture enters into symbiosis with the lighting design of Artec Studio, telling a story of light and values: culture, design, sustainability, innovation.
Welcoming visitors is a large eyelid that like an eye opens up to light and visions of the future. ‘Look at the light’, a light installation designed by Maurici Gines of Artec Studio at the entrance of the stand, represents the link between the experiential spaces of iGuzzini and the outside world. The eye and its ability to reveal knowledge are the door to enter iGuzzini's concept of light: they invite you to enter with an attentive and curious gaze.
The task of regulating the relationship with the surrounding context is entrusted to an outer skin, a permeable boundary that, while preventing access, does not obstruct sight. Their boundaries are delineated and yet ethereal at the same time; their lightness and suspension from the ground increase the suggestive value of the installations.
